We have always been taught in a business school that business results/profits depend on inputs such as men, machine, material, money, management, and processing how things are being done. It means our business results or performance fundamentally rely on these 5Ms and processing. Like businesses, there are the essential things that are likely to determine the life results which I think are even bigger than business results. I am not saying that business results have no value at all. Indeed, it had, it has and it will have but nothing is more valuable than the value of life. Your life exists so do other things. Now the question is what will determine the value of life? How does life give you the things you want?
Both happiness and success cannot be bought. They have to be earned. For that, we have to be competent or right enough to earn. It might be complicated for many of us at first but once we understand it, it seems easier than we ever thought it could be. Like a law of gravity, there is a law of life. The law of gravity tells us that when we throw something onto the sky, it comes back to land. Though this law is discovered by Newton, it had existed since the inception or creation of the earth. He just noticed it when he saw an apple falling down from the tree, and named it. Like this, there are many more things which are still not discovered by human beings. On the other hand, one of the laws of life is that we are given to the extent we really deserve for. It is indeed calculated and given us as per our deservingness. We get nothing more or nothing less than that. This idea is also supported by Newton’s third law: “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” This law explains that forces always come in action-reaction pairs. For every action of life, whatever you act, you then will be reacted in the same manner. Thus, how much you get depends enormously on how and how much you put to get that thing done. Some people refer it to as “Tit for tat”.
Have you ever noticed that are bigger results, both in business or life, are positively correlated to bigger actions and better strategies? Yes, they are. However, life has multiple dimensions to consider for. All of us just want more happiness and success which are collectively measured in terms of better health, more wealth, good relationships, and power. These life goals are determined by the level of things you put into it such as what do we do it? How do we do it? When do we do it? Where do we do it? How much do we do it? Based on these life inputs, we will be given our life goals. We, thus, get things to the extent that we truly deserve for. And do not forget, most of our life goals/outcomes are overwhelmingly affected by actions and strategies in accordance with these 5WHs questions.
